Christmas party outfit ideas from casual to full-on glam! 🤩

This has been one of my favourite blogs to pull together ever! It’s party season folks and although it’s supposed to be ‘fun’ often getting dressed for a party can put us into a head spin. 🤯

I would even argue that there is no subsection of personal style more alluring — and more challenging — than deciding what to wear to a party. The best way to tackle this is to stick to your personal style as much as possible so you feel comfortable. If you are a casual girl then opt for jeans and a nice top but add an interesting sparkly bag to make the outfit zing (see below).

It doesn’t need to be complicated. By paying a bit of attention to details like a pair of cool shoes (see the Boden green beauties below), or a killer pair of statement earrings, you can be the best/most interestingly dressed person at the party. The devil is in the details.

But functionally speaking, it forces me to confront the very real practicalities of outfitting for an evening of what often includes moving from place to place, dancing, climbing in and out of transportation. On top of that, the category of clothing typically associated with “going out” is quite narrow.

That’s why I have made sure lots of these pieces c an be worn again and again!
